Made from a different blend of grapes every year, this wine is made for drinking while manning the Brai, or grill. This year it is Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot, Shiraz and Durif (Petit Sirah). It offers savory, slightly earth-tinged aromas of black fruits and a very gentle texture that lends itself to being served chilled for freshness. It is much less fruity that other chillable reds, which make for a nice change of pace.
A wine that reminds us of chilly fireside all-nighters under the stars, when cheeky banter and silly jokes kept us warm. Made to accompany a good giggle and fuel the gees (a great vibe).
Integrated flavours of black and red berries, tea leaves and spice invite a sip of this easy drinking blend. The gentle structure, with soft tannins supporting a core of sweet berry fruit, adds friendly drinkability. Medium bodied with a well-rounded savoury finish.

Pinotage is a cross between Pinot noir and Cinsaut . It typically produces deep red varietal wines with smoky, bramble and earthy flavors, sometimes with notes of bananas and tropical fruit.
Red wine is wine made from dark-coloured grape varieties. The color of red differs based on the grapes variety or varieties used.
Interestingly, black grapes yield a juice that is greenish-white. The actual red color comes from anthocyan pigments (also called anthocyanins) from the skin of the grape (exceptions are the relatively uncommon teinturier varieties, which produce a red colored juice). Most of the production centers around the extraction of color and flavor from the grape skin.
