Bourbon law dictates that the mashbill must contain a minimum of 51% corn to be called Bourbon, but we believe it is the art and science of the aging and blending process that makes The Other 49 ours. It requires a deep understanding how barrels age each season, what flavors come from the hot Texas summers and cool winters, and how each hand selected barrel composition can change the balance of the blend.
COLOR
The Other 49 boasts a rich honey color, a deep gold that glows enticingly.
NOSE
A pleasing nose of smoked oak with complements of cherry and ripe banana, all spice and caramel.
TASTE
Velvety rye spice mingles with notes of stone fruit, crisp green apple oaked vanilla, and butterscotch.
FINISH
A long warm finish with soothing flavors of seasoned oak, candied red fruit, and smooth caramel.
