Like the previous release, this is a complex and rich rendition of California Sauvignon Blanc, infused with levity, brightness, and energy from the picture-perfect 2023 growing season and sourced from cool-climate hillside vineyards in the West Sonoma Coast and the Eastern Slope atop Goldridge soils at elevations ranging from 274 to 579 metres. The wine is loaded with ripe citrus fruit, salted lemon peel, and grapefruit zest. It’s medium-bodied, with ripping acidity balanced by creamy fruit textures and heady tangerine and lime blossom notes. The blend consists of 68% Sauvignon Blanc and 32% Musqué, aged in high-grade stainless steel, expensive new French oak barriques, and pink-staved acacia wood. In 2019, Jayson Woodbridge of Hundred Acre began producing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir under the Summer Dreams label, using fruit from cool-climate vineyards on the extreme Sonoma Coast.
