That herbal, yeasty tang of Grüner is on display on the nose. The dry palate further brings out the earthy aspect with miso, stone, yeast and lemon. The body is light and balanced with a savory but diffuse finish.

Grüner Veltliner is usually produced to be very dry with spicy, peppery notes and a beautiful minerality. It is often full-bodied and though it is generally consumed young, with age it can take on aromas and flavors similar to white Burgundies.
Kalecik is located northeast of Ankara in the Mid-Northern Anatolia province. At an altitude of over 2,000 feet, the vineyard is surrounded by nearby mountains and the Kizilirmak River. The river creates an extraordinary mesoclimate for producing wines with naturally high acidity that are powerfully complex. Due to these unique weather conditions, the most prominent grape cultivated in Kalecik carries the name of the region. Kalecik Karasi is one of the three most important red grape varieties in Turkey.
White wine is a wine whose color can be pale-yellow, yellow-green, and yellow-gold colored. The wine is produced from a variety of grape varieties. The flavor and color comes from the juice of the grape and sometimes the skin of the grape as well. Interestingly, not all white wine comes from white grapes. Some select red grapes are used as in Champagne.
