Made from grapes grown in 90% from Zeltinger Himmelreich, rest from Bernkastel all on slate fermented 60% old Mosel fuder, 40% stainless steel.
Selbach's 2021 Riesling feinherb opens with a very aromatic, almost Traminer-like bouquet of ripe, elegant, yellow-fleshed fruits intertwined with delicate slate and floral aromas. Round and elegant on the palate, this is a dense and finely structured off-dry Riesling with a stimulatingly saline and savory finish. This is an excellent Riesling to have with many kinds of dishes, also sweet and piquant ones. 11% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted in October 2022. Stephan Reinhardt
