The 2011 Reserva Colección Artistas Españoles - Velázquez is 100% Tempranillo from Rioja Alta. It matured for 20 months in new French oak barrels and an additional three months in _foudres. This garnet wine showcases notes of dried plums and blueberries, complemented by wild herbs and tertiary leather hints. Indulgent, rich and pleasantly taut, the compact and fairly concentrated palate lingers, leaving a long-lasting and mouthwatering finish.
