A most serene note of dried sour cherry is lifted and aromatic and immediately spells the Italian DNA of this wine. Hints of blood orange peel only add to the cherry allure. The palate comes with a medium but sinuous body that channels the fine, silky tannins, some toasty oak notes and exquisite Morello cherry fruit into a languid, elegant shape. Beautiful, serious, utterly fresh with a hint of cinnamon on the finish. Lovely now, certain to evolve.

Product Review
Ruby garnet color. Tobacco and cherry aromas with flavors of mulberry, parchment, hints of vanilla soft serve, and tomato with a lightly tannic, dry light-to-medium body and a seamless, brisk finish with a suggestion of oak flavor. A wonderful Italian red for any party, week night dinner, or picnic.
Montepulciano produces has round and plummy wine with soft tannin and relatively low acidity. They wines can frequently improve for three or four years. It should not be confused with the similarly named Tuscan wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, which is made from predominantly Sangiovese and is named for the village it is produced in, rather than for containing any Montepulciano grapes in the blend.
Tuscany is practically synonymous with Italian wine. Red wine, principally made from Sangiovese, accounts for most of the region’s production. Whether it’s a light Chianti, bold Brunello di Montalcino, or fruit-forward Super Tuscan there is a wine for just about everyone. Other sub-regions within Tuscany include Maremma, Bolgheri, and Rosso di Montalcino.
