Henschke Peggy's Hill Riesling SOMLYAY - 2024 (750ml)

This Riesling takes its name from a local landmark, Peggy’s Hill, at the top of the range between the villages of Eden Valley and Keyneton. Peggy's Hill Riesling is produced from selected traditional Henschke Eden Valley growers with vines up to 50 years old and grown in low vigor ancient Cambrian soils at around 500 meters in altitude. Peggy’s Hill Riesling displays exceptional varietal and regional characteristics.

The 2024 Peggy's Hill Riesling is vibrant and taut in the glass—it thrums with energy like a plucked guitar string. It has notes of crushed rocks, pressed white flowers, scratched lime zest and pithy, zesty acid in the mouth. This is a very fine, light wine, with a firm phenolic structure and good length. It is gorgeous, neat and long.

Citrus-driven aromas of lemon peel, green apples and flint. The palate is vibrant with laser-like acidity, giving notes of candied limes, talc and grapefruit rind. Energetic and pure.
