Product Review
Renowned amongst many whisky enthusiasts around the world, this remarkable and full bodied malt is matured for a minimum of 15 years in the Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46%, the GlenDronach Revival is non chill filtered and of natural color.
Appearance - Deep gold with a lovely mahogany heart.
Nose - Incredible concentration of aromas. Treacle toffee and chocolate orange.
Palate - A very dynamic and full bodied dram for its age. Chewy with coffee chocolate and treacle scones.
Although Speyside lies within the Scottish Highlands, it is considered its own whisky producing region due to the concentration of distilleries and similarities in style. However within Speyside there can still be a significant differences. There are those on the lighter side, such as Glenlivet and Singleton of Glendullan and those richer, rounder Scotches from Macallan and Aberlour.
Single malts, made by a single distillery and from 100% malted barley, comprise the majority of our selection. However you will also find a number of popular blended Scotches as well as some very special one-off, single barrel, single malts from independent bottlers.
