Made Good

Carefully grown mature agave is harvested by skilled and super cool jimadors, who like Don Gato wield their sharp coa's with fervor and artistry. The piña of the plant is then crushed, much like Don Gato's would-be challengers. Instead of using his bare hands, the agave is crushed through a combination of ancient stone tahona wheels and modern techniques. Distillation occurs in glorious copper pot stills with properties that produce a pure, smooth, clean and flavorful tequila. The stills also look ridiculously cool.

Aroma & Taste

Reposado means rested. But there's no rest for your senses. They're going to be super busy with notes of golden raisin, Madagascar vanilla, lemon peel, and tart green apple on the nose. A little more complex than our clean Blanco sibling.

Finish

The finish features smooth hints of butterscotch, bourbon-oak, peppercorn, black tea and the faint echoes of applause that might be a standing ovation.
