Hailing from Sardinia, Vermentino is a light-bodied, crisp, dry wine known for its notes of lemon, grass, and fresh herbs.
Corsica is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, located between the south-east coast of Provence and the west coast of Tuscany. The key grape varieties used are Italian classics Sangiovese and Vermentino. However, more than 40 varieties are sanctioned for use though the majority may be employed only in the island's Vin de Pays wines. Chardonnay, brought to Corsica by the French, is often blended with Vermentino for the VDP wines, but has not yet made its way into the AOCs.

White wine is a wine whose color can be pale-yellow, yellow-green, and yellow-gold colored. The wine is produced from a variety of grape varieties. The flavor and color comes from the juice of the grape and sometimes the skin of the grape as well. Interestingly, not all white wine comes from white grapes. Some select red grapes are used as in Champagne.
