PROCESS

Manual harvest in plastic-crates of 14kilos, coming from the vineyards “Espilver” and “El Convento”, planted in 1987. The grapes are destemmed and bleeded. Alcoholic Fermentation is taken in American oak, malolactic fermentation and aged in new 500L. barrels of American oak.

TASTING NOTES

Red picota cherry color with ruby tones. Complex in the nose, Black, fruity aromas balsamic, coffee, smoked, minerals, low forest and coal.

Tasty, well balanced, blueberry memories in the after taste, cherries, smoked, graphite, tobacco, Toasted coffee and litter.

Paring with power dishes, desserts, also interesting with a good habano cigar and a book.

The 2022 Tinto Tierra Fidel is a co-fermentation of 50% Garnacha Tinta and 50% Graciano from Labastida, aged for one year in barrel and concrete egg. Its ripe profile opens with balsamic notes, red apple skin, blackberry and dried flowers. The style is distinct and mature-leaning. - By Joaquín Hidalgo on April 2026
