BOAR KRÄUTER 1844 is a liqueur made from 18 berries and 44 selected herbs from the Black Forest. The family distillery is located in beautiful southwest Germany, directly on the French border.
The subtly berry, slightly sour fragrance of black juniper and cranberries, paired with the
fruity notes of wild raspberries and enticing elder meet the profound variety of herbs in the Black Forest.
HOW BEST TO USE IT?
BOAR Kräuter 1844 is wonderfully enjoyed neat, for example, as an aperitif or as a digestif on the rocks with an orange zest. It's also great as a long drink with tonic water, a spritz, or as a delicious addition to fresh, berry cocktails.

This distinguished expression of traditional Piemonte flavors is a wine-based Amaro, a predecessor to the now more common styles of Amari. It is prepared by an infusion of Cardoon, Blessed Thistle, and other botanicals in the estate wine of Bosca, then rested on new oak for at least six months. The recipe originated with the founder of this now 7th generation winemaking family. Appreciation of Cardoon and Blessed Thistle dates back to antiquity and today they remain popular in Piemontese regional cusine. 17% abv.
Whether a cordial, made from various fruits, or a liqueur, which is made from herbs, seeds, roots or nuts, we have the monks of 15th century Europe to thank for creating the recipes that are still used today and are an essential component to any cocktail connoisseur's cabinet.
