This is the combination of three local black grape varieties: Xarel·lo vermell, Bastard Negre and Sumoll. Textures de Pedra is a Blanc de Noirs concentrated on the palate and with a great potential for ageing.
The 2020 Brut Nature Textures de Pedra is composed of 50% Xarel·lo vermell, 25% Sumoll, and 25% Bastard Negre, sourced from the Conca del Riu Anoia in Penedes. Aged 42 months on the lees, this light yellow wine reveals aromas of bakery, bay leaf and lime, complemented by deep citrus layers. Dry and ethereal on the palate, the vibrant, saline acidity leads to a refreshing and textured mouthfeel. This joyful and vivid sparkling wine boasts a heightened core thanks to the red varieties in the blend. - Joaquin Hidalgo

Xarel-lo is a light-skinned grape from Catalonia, north-eastern Spain, and is one of the region's most widely planted varieties. These interesting wines are highly regarded for their bracing, lemon-like acidity and stone-fruit flavors.
Catalonia (Catalunya in Catalan and Cataluña in Spanish) is an autonomous community in the north-east of Spain. It stretches from the historic county (comarca) of Montsia in the south to the border with France in the north. The Mediterranean Sea forms its eastern border and offers 360 miles (580km) of coastline. The Catalunya DO appellation was Spain's first region-wide, cover-all DO title. Created in 1999, it covers all of the scattered vineyards that were not covered by any of the region's other 11 DOs.

White wine is a wine whose color can be pale-yellow, yellow-green, and yellow-gold colored. The wine is produced from a variety of grape varieties. The flavor and color comes from the juice of the grape and sometimes the skin of the grape as well. Interestingly, not all white wine comes from white grapes. Some select red grapes are used as in Champagne.
