SIA Scotch Whisky is a new and exciting spirit for your modern palate. A blend of Speyside, Highland and Islay malt and grain whiskies, SIA received a 91 points from Wine Enthusiast and an “Outstanding” rating from Whisky Advocate Magazine. SIA makes a perfect gift to new and experienced whisky enthusiasts alike.
Taste Profile:
The striking amber color of clover honey, SIA awakens the nose with citrus and spice and opens the palate with a hint of smoky vanilla. The finish is long, smooth and refreshing with hints of hazelnut and toffee.
Unique Story:
The story of SIA is what makes it especially unique, crowd-funded two-years ago on Kickstarter.com by a Hispanic woman in California named Carin Luna-Ostaseski, after years of searching for a way to introduce her friends to Scotch whisky and challenge the idea that scotch is "your grandfather's drink". Mission accomplished.
Bottle Size: 750ml / 86 Proof

Although one of a number Scotland's whisky producing islands, Islay is so distinctive in character it is classified as a separate region. Of the island's seven distilleries currently bottling, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, and Laphroaig on the shouthern shore and Caol Ila to the north, are known for making the most peaty whisky that expresses medicinal qualities redolent of seaweed, salt, and iodine. By contrast, Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, and Bruichladdich make less peated but equally complex whisky, with the latter two bottling the island's lightest styles.
Single malts, made by a single distillery and from 100% malted barley, comprise the majority of our selection. However you will also find a number of popular blended Scotches as well as some very special one-off, single barrel, single malts from independent bottlers.
