Winemaker's Notes:

"Our 2018 Audeant Pinot Noir is comprised of fruit from small lots, meticulously tended to by hand at Luminous Hills, Carlile’s Crest, Nysa and Cherry Grove vineyards. Aromas unwind from the glass radiating with dark red fruit, cassis, black tea and herbs. In kind, the palate reverberates, extending out in all directions framed by the kind of structure that will carry this wine beautifully over its long potential ageing. 

Vineyard(s): Luminous Hills 18%, Carlile’s Crest 14%, Nysa 33%, Cherry Grove 34% 

Oak profile: 50% new French and Austrian oak, the balance in 1-6 year old French oak 

Elevage: 18 months undisturbed on the lees, racked once to tank for bottling 

Whole Cluster inclusion: 30% of the total blend "

92 Points - Wine Advocate "The 2018 Pinot Noir has a medium ruby color and pretty scents of dried herbs and dusty earth with bright blue and red berry fruit. Medium-bodied, it floods the mouth with intense, earth-laced fruits, expertly grainy and fresh and finishing very long and layered."
