Foradori Fontanasanta Nosiola Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT - 2024 (750ml)
100% Nosiola. Foradori works 2 hectares of this ancient local variety in the Fontanasanta vineyard at about 400 meters above the city of Trento, a few miles down valley from the Foradori estate in Mezzolombardo. The vines are on clay-limestone soils, lower on the hills than the Manzoni Bianco vines that the Foradoris also tend here. The farming is organic.
The 2024 Nosiola Fontanasanta entices as exotic citrus and floral aromas lead to grapefruit, pine and blood orange. This is deeply complex – a tangerine accent on the entry contrasts mineral-laced peach and tart green apple, all supported by a core of vibrant acidity. The 2024 leaves the palate completely refreshed as a tinge of chalk offsets sweet spice and nuances of fermented lemon. - By Eric Guido on December 2025
