We like to define this Ancestral Montònega as a fun and enjoyable sparkling: because it's fresh, it's tart and it's honest, but above all because it's easy to drink, despite being a more complex wine than it apparently seems.
The 1023 Ancestral Montenego is an ancestral method sparkling wine from Penedes. Delicate in the glass, it offers pristine herbal and lime notes, with light bitterness on the finish. The bubbles are fine and subtle. Joaquin Hidalgo April 2024
