Luminesce is our white Bordeaux blend, perfectly balanced by the rich fruit profile of Semillon and the crisp, floral, and mineral notes of the Sauvignon Blanc. This is a very unique wine for L’Ecole since it’s produced exclusively with fruit from our Estate Seven Hills Vineyard.
Tasting Notes
Bright and mouth-filling, our Estate Luminesce displays expressive aromas of stone fruit, grapefruit blossom, key lime, and gooseberry accented by lanolin and a delicate spiciness. On the palate, flavors of fresh peach, honeydew melon, and lemon tart mingle with exotic jasmine and a saline minerality building to a fresh, persistent finish.

Luminesce is a Sémillon heavy blend with Sauvignon Blanc from the estate Seven Hills Vineyard site just on the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley. Delicate florals announce this wine’s aromatics, with jasmine, grapefruit pith and green mangoes. The palate is lively, with zesty citrus elements and ginger that lead into ripe stone fruit flesh, all brightened by citrusy zip into the finish. -Clive Pursehouse - July 2024
