Morellino di Scansano is an Italian wine appellation in southern Tuscany. The wines are dry reds from the Sangiovese grape variety, known here as Morellino. They are produced in the rolling coastal hills around the medieval village of Scansano.

The wine has rather sat in the shadow of other Tuscan DOCG red wine zones such as Chianti Classico, Montalcino and Montepulciano. However, in recent times it has become a more common sight in wine bars and restaurants in Italian cities and beyond.
