Wines: Lussac-Saint-Emilion

Lussac-Saint-Emilion is the most northerly of the four 'satellites' within the larger Saint-Emilion appellation in the 'right bank' Libournais district of Bordeaux.

The Lavie stream runs along the southwestern boundary of Lussac-Saint-Emilion, neatly separating it from Montagne-Saint-Emilion. To the southeast is the other satellite of Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion.To the east is the Cotes de Francs appellation. Beyond this, its northern limits border the wider Bordeaux AOP appellation which stretches all the way to the department's boundary with the Charente-Maritime.
