The property is surrounded by olive and truffle oak trees, lavender fields and thick forest. The vineyards are near the northern limit of ripening Grenache, in the colder foothills of the Alps, where they are swept by the strong mistral winds. Grenache was planted in the early 1980s-2003, Syrah planted from the 1980s-2010, Carignan planted in the 1960s.

Product Review
Grenache Gris, grown on black schists at an altitude of 385 meters in the upper Agly Valley. In new 300-liter barrels, skin maceration for 4 to 5 hours at 5 °C, then fermentation between 16° and 20° with daily lees stirring (Battonage).
The nose is characterized by a beautiful minerality and hints of toasted hazelnuts. The palate is delicate, very long with notes of candied chestnuts and cumin.
Grenache Blanc is known for elements of green apple, herb and minerality, along with floral scents and refreshing acidity. The grape thrives in the hot, dry and often windy conditions found in the Southern Rhone Valley.
The Languedoc and Roussillon are two adjoining but distinctly separate wine regions in southern France. The Languedoc consists of two main regions: The Aude, home to the sub-regions of Limoux, Corbieres, Fitou, Minervois, and the Herault, which includes Picpoul de Pinet and the vin doux naturels producing regions of Banyuls, Frontignan, Lunel and Mireval.
White wine is a wine whose color can be pale-yellow, yellow-green, and yellow-gold colored. The wine is produced from a variety of grape varieties. The flavor and color comes from the juice of the grape and sometimes the skin of the grape as well. Interestingly, not all white wine comes from white grapes. Some select red grapes are used as in Champagne.
