Our FRANSAC Red Pineau des Charentes enjoys a vineyard considered as one of the greatest French florets. Produced from black merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes, our grapes draw their strength from calcareous soils and their freshness from sea spray. Our Red Pineaux des Charentes are the fruit of a marriage of fresh grape juice, black merlot and cabernet sauvignon grapes with a lot of cognac eau-de-vie from the Petite Champagne vintage. Aging in oak barrels for at least two years brings it a nice roundness.

Includes white wines that are either made from a number of varieties and where no one is predominant, or the blend is propitiatory. For other blends see Champagne and Port Blends.
South West France consists of a number of varied of sub-regions. Excluding Bordeaux, it encompasses but is not limited to: Bergerac, The Cotes de Duras and Cotes de Marmandais at the very north; Cahor and Gaillac in the northeast; the Cotes de Gascogne in the center with Madiran just below, and finally Jurancon and Irouleguy in the southwest. While the varieties that form the white and red Bordeaux blends are common, the region is also home to a number of indigenous and unique varieties.
