Quinta do Pego LBV Port - 2010 (750ml)

This wine has been aged four years before bottling. Mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão and Sousão grapes have been used for this port and all grapes are grown at Quinta do Pégo’s A classified vineyards in the Douro Valley in Portugal.

This elegant port has a lovely dark red colour and shows a delicate and aromatic intensity with fresh, primarily floral notes, ripe black fruits and spices. The taste is fresh, vinous and full-bodied with good structure and shows fantastic persistence, in a good wrapping of ripe black fruit and soft and lively tannins, which together with good acidity provide perfect harmony and balance between volume, structure and elegance. This unfiltered LBV port has a fresh and appealing finish and shows personality, elegance and great potential to evolve.The taste is just as good as many vintage ports.
