Developed in Akita in 1998, Akita Sake Komachi ?????? has rapidly become the prefecture’s most popular sakamai for ginjo-shu. Because of elevated glucose levels, much of the sake made from Akita Sake Komachi leans toward the sweeter side. There is also often a spicy quality to this sake, alongside a whole fruit basket of tasting descriptors.
