The 2022 Parajes Sotillo de la Ribera by Callejo blends Tinto Fino with smaller portions of Garnacha and Albillo Mayor. It was aged 18 months in 500-liter and 3,500-liter French barrels. The wine offers a vivid bouquet of bright red fruit, candy, violets and fresh plum over a noticeable oak background. Dry, expansive and juicy, with firm 2022 tannins that tighten the flow and a chalky texture that adds depth. - By Joaquín Hidalgo, June 2025
