Jefferson's Ocean Rye (750ml)

Youthful notes of tropical fruit are coupled with baked apple, rye bread, and creamy vanilla. The palate is like a Moroccan bakery crossed with a high end Italian leather workshop. Crystalized ginger, baking spices, and vanilla, mingle together with an enticing note of leather. It sits on the palate with such a smooth, buttery texture and carries on to a lengthy finish. This Rye has an impressive amount of complexity for a 10 year old. Without knowing its age you could easily mistake this for a much older whiskey, however there are a couple of give away signs such as the fresh fruit on the nose. This intriguing contradiction between its developed and youthful character just adds to the charm of this delicious Rye. - Felix Milner
