Domaine Billard Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc La Justice - 2022 (750ml)

The Billard’s HCB Blanc is 100% Chardonnay. The 10-hectare vineyard has the place name, “lieu dit,” of La Justice and is located in the village of La Rochepot (just around the corner from Saint Aubin). The soil is very chalky, and the land has good drainage and exposure. The grapes are fermented in barrel and then matured for 6 months “sur lie” before bottling. The resulting wine is rich, well-structured, and elegant.
