    It’s more than a NY thing

    Complete transparency, I’m from Rochester, NY. Fee Brothers bitters are made in Rochester, NY, but putting my bias aside….

    Bitters, like any ingredient, need to be fresh. I appreciated the natural flavor of the bitter orange, some brands can leave a chemical flavor in your cocktail, but I find Fee Brothers to be cleaner than other brands I have used. I also like their wide selection of flavors (don’t sleep on the rhubarb) and I think most of them when used within a month or two of opening are exceptional additions to your bar. I can’t stress enough that a cocktail out and about can cost upwards of $15/$20 so keep your nine buck bitters FRESH, toss out that ten year old bottle you’ve been nursing!
