Very similar to a German style Kölsch. This beer ranges from a pale straw to deep gold color and is usually brewed entirely with malt. Most of these beers have a subdued fruitiness with a light to medium bitterness in the background. American Blonde Ales tend to be very well balanced, light bodied, and sometimes quite like a lager.
