They have a mere 1.2 hectares divided among 12 parcels. They produce approximately 650 cases a year. Their farming practices follow the principles of organic farming, and their wine-making takes a minimal intervention approach. The estate was classified “Cru Artisan” in 2018.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eChateau Marceline is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Prior to harvest, a selection is made in the vineyard and then once the grapes reach the winery a second selection is carried out before the grapes are crushed. The grapes are pressed in a wooden basket press and then fermented in cement tanks. The wine is racked into barrels where it ages for one year.
