Punset Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore - 2021 (750ml)

Winemaker's Notes:

The grapes, grown according to the methods of organic farming, are carefully selected and harvested by hand, in perforated and pyated boxes, removing the stalks. The must ferments without added yeasts, tumultuously for about a week, with frequent pumping over and periodic delestages. After racking, the malolactic fermentation concludes the vinification process; the wine now clear, ages in cement tanks for 24 months followed by an aging in bottle of about 6 months. Thanks to the vinification technique, the fruity aromas are favored as much as possible; even the permanence on the skins, quite short, allows to obtain an intense color and light, pleasant tannins.

The ruby red color accompanies pleasant aromas of summer fruit: cherry, black currant, blackberry. This is the preamble of a vinous, soft and round flavor, which ends with an intense persistence and a slightly bitter finish, typical of the vine.
